Memorial Day through July 15 is prime time for the Henry’s Fork, Firehole and Madison in Yellowstone Park. It’s the season of famous hatches – green drake, brown drake, gray drake and salmonfly, and attracts the most anglers to the area.

Mid-July through mid-September is when the lower Madison, South Fork of the Snake, the Yellowstone, Lamar and Slough Creek in Yellowstone Park, and most of the areas lakes come into prime time.

Mid-September through October is when all of the waters are at their peak, the crowds thin, the wildlife is out in force, and the temperatures cool.

The main lodge features six individually appointed guest rooms, including two deluxe suites with oversized fireplaces and spectacular views of the Henry's Fork. It also houses our unique collection of turn-of-the-century Navajo rugs and other original works of art. The dining room is a favorite gathering space, and is renowned throughout the region for gourmet, locally sourced and seasonal dining. Adjacent to the main lodge are eight cottage suites, all with separate bedrooms, sitting rooms, and cozy fireplaces.

Though the epic fly fishing is what draws people to Henry’s Fork, dining at the lodge is an experience unto itself. Whether you’re an overnight guest or visiting us just for a special meal, you’re guaranteed fresh, seasonal ingredients, many of which we proudly source from farms and ranches surrounding the lodge. Our dinner menu changes daily, and our team of talented chefs also create hearty breakfasts and delicious picnic lunches for your day of exploration.

Gratuity
We're often asked about the custom and practice for staff tips. The staff shares in a tip pool that reflects that your satisfaction with your stay depends on the collective efforts of all of the staff. You may simply leave a tip for the staff at the end of your stay that will be added to the balance of your Lodge bill and distributed to the staff. Customarily it's a percentage of your underlying bill in the range of 15-20%.
