CINCO RIOS LODGE
Each morning, after a sumptuous breakfast at the lodge, you will along with your guide be taken via truck to rivers and streams ranging from 30 minutes to an hour away on dirt roads. The lodge also has access to several private rivers and creeks, with some of them located just across the border in Argentina.
You will be happy to know that there is so much water available to the lodge that in many cases you will be casting to fish who haven’t seen an artificial fly all year. The trout come in all sizes but the one thing they have in common is that they are all healthy chunky fish and among them are many true trophies.
The lodge employs experienced professional guides that will ensure your satisfaction. They are always happy to share their vast knowledge of fly fishing and the outdoors whether you be an expert or novice.
ESTANCIA DEL ZORRO LODGE
Each day you will explore the pampas, mountains and waters of the vast estancia. You will be taken to fish either on one of the estancia’s two private rivers or its own 15 mile long spring creek for huge Brown Trout that get over 10lbs.
On some days you will be taken on a scenic 35 minute drive across the Chilean-Argentine border where you will view many types of exotic wildlife and fish for its big Rainbows. You also have the option to float the famous Simpson River that is located only an hour from the estancia.
It’s good to remember that trout fishing in Chile has only been discovered in the last ten or fifteen years, so many of the small streams on the property have seldom been fished and new productive water is being discovered each year. These virgin streams offer superb sight fishing dry fly action in crystal clear pristine water.
